CIOC Community Awards

Chief Information Officer Council Community Awards (formerly the IM-IT Community Recognition Awards) – recognize excellence in both enterprise-wide and departmental projects and initiatives: significant improvements to programs and, services, new or transformative projects that create value, and a positive return on the investment for the Government of Canada in the following categories:

  • Excellence in Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP)
  • Excellence in Information Management
  • Excellence in Information Technology
  • Excellence in Project Management
  • Excellence in Security
  • Excellence in Community Development 

In addition, the Chief Information Officer of the Government of Canada selects the recipient of the CIO Leadership Award.

The awards are administered by the Service and GC 2.0 Policy and Community Enablement Division of the Treasury Board Secretariat.

The awards will be presented at the DPI Dinner in Ottawa, to be held at the Shaw Centre (formerly the Ottawa Convention Centre) on Thursday, May 26, 2016.
